Responsibilities:
Prepare and Deliver Tax Optimization Plans to individuals, small and medium businesses
Be able to review business and personal tax returns for small business clients from the initial meeting through the delivery and filing of returns
Manage staff accountants
Communicate with clients
Organize and update the tax database
Research and update the KMS with tax optimization solutions
Review tax entries of associates into accounting software
Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
Review of financial statements
Requirements:
10+ years of Tax Preparation Experience is a Must
Proven work experience as a Team manager
Advanced knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
Must be a licensed tax preparer, EA, or CPA
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
QuickBooks accounting software experience
Computer literacy, numerical skills, and attention to detail
