As a Financial Case Management Representative you:
- Gather, track, and communicate financial and insurance information for an assigned caseload of patients/clients and their representatives in order to inform treatment team of third party requirements that impact treatment plan, maximize prompt collection for services, and prevent bad debt.
- Research and verify all insurance benefits assigned to health system.
- Track patients’ status as it relates to third party coverage and keep treatment team apprised of status.
Requires:
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 6 months of experience in related admission/registration or billing/collections work (i.e. knowledge of health insurance terminology, plan coverages and carriers, third party reimbursement procedures, grant-in-aid, financial agreements and forms, etc.).
