Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. 

Responsibilities:

•  Advanced organization and time management skills – ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with thorough communication to the team and clients
• Client interfacing through platforms such as video meetings, phone calls, and emails
• Review and preparation of complex individual and business tax returns
• Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
• Manage/review non-income tax filings such as franchise and property tax
• Performs other related duties and project work as assigned
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

 

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or CPA license preferred
• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation
• Experience in the construction industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in financial analysis, financial report interpretation, and balance sheet reconciliation
