About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to spearhead the development and oversight of its enterprise-wide compliance program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization’s adherence to all relevant regulations and ethical standards. The CCO will be responsible for policy and procedure development, employee training, and internal auditing activities, and will serve as a liaison to the Board and its committees on compliance matters. The successful candidate will foster a culture of compliance, monitor industry and legislative changes, and ensure that the compliance policies are up to date. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a graduate degree in a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of compliance and/or auditing experience in healthcare.
The ideal CCO will have a strong background in regulatory and legal compliance, with experience in areas such as sponsored awards, research, non-profit finance, and healthcare reimbursement through governmental sources being strongly preferred. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage day-to-day compliance operations, including auditing, monitoring, and educational efforts. The candidate should be adept at overseeing internal and external compliance resources as necessary and must be committed to making compliance a top priority within the organization. The position offers an exceptional opportunity for a knowledgeable compliance executive to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to redefining the experience of aging.
