Job Function:

Partners with a Financial Center Manager (FCM), the Assistant Financial Center Manager (AFCM) shares responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of the financial center. Adhere to established policies, procedures and regulatory compliance within financial center. The AFCM is focused on client relationships as well as collaborating with the FCM to increase employee engagement and productivity. Provides existing and potential customers with excellent customer service while performing a variety of transaction functions, in line with established policies and procedures. Knowledgeable of bank services to cross sell or refer products/services as customer needs are identified. Processing teller transactions and performing a variety of sales and service activities to support the financial center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains a culture with associates proactively greet and assist customers.
  • Responsible for the effective day-to-day operations and growth of the Financial Service Center by working with the team to develop and implement individual referral and service goals and objectives. Monitors team performance and goals; gives ongoing coaching and feedback and participates in performance evaluations.
  • Collaborates with FCM on hiring, training, developing and coaching branch team.
  • Management focus is on expanding customer relationships by assisting the team in identifying referral opportunities and exceeding customer service expectations.
  • Follows a schedule of sales and service management routines.
  • Proactively works toward achievement of team and individual sales and service goals. Expected to meet minimum performance standards as outlined in the performance scorecard for this position.
  • Oversee security controls as established within the banks, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment, dependability and respect for the team with attendance, punctuality, and agreed-upon schedule of availability.
  • May be asked to participate and represent Country Club Bank in various community and civic activities.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications / Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Education: College degree preferred or related experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years Banker experience or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibit and maintain high degree of professionalism
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong time management skills
  • Displays leadership qualities
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrates computer literacy
  • Proactive sales and service skills including outbound calls to customers

  • 2+ Years in a Retail banking function

  • Proficient with PC, web and Microsoft Office applications

  • Other duties as assigned

Financial Center hours:8:30am – 530pm; Mon. – Fri.; 9:00am – 12:00pm Saturdays. Hours will be set based upon staffing needs of Financial Center. Associate availability should be 8:00am to 6:00pm Mon. – Fri. and 8:15am to 12:15pm Saturdays.
