Anywhere We are working with a private, family-owned and operated real estate investment company to hire an experienced Accounting Manager. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $50 to $62 per hour.
Job Description:
- Perform month-end close process.
- Maintain and track fixed assets.
- Prepare month-end, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting packages.
- Prepare property and entity billings.
- Perform treasury management functions.
- Review coding of accounts payable invoices.
- Prepare monthly lender and investor draw packages.
- Prepare annual audit work papers and coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and or tax return preparation.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Public accounting experience highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in property accounting, preferably with experience managing multiple commercial / residential properties
- Prior accounting experience in real estate industry
- Experience with Yardi software
