About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a strategic and hands-on role in overseeing the organization’s financial operations. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, capital markets, risk management, and financial planning. This pivotal role also involves developing and implementing a robust financial operating platform to support the company’s growth, as well as spearheading value-creating strategic partnerships and joint ventures. The CFO will serve as a key partner to the executive team, offering financial insight and guidance, and will be deeply involved in all aspects of capital-raising activities and the development of strategies to support the organization’s profitable growth goals.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of work experience in finance, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity within the property and casualty industry. A strong background in working with rapidly growing middle-market companies is preferred, as is experience in capital raising, managing reinsurance programs, and overseeing enterprise risk management in a growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and profitability. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field is preferred. Mergers and acquisitions experience is also a plus.
