Primary point of contact for immigration and global mobility programs who works to ensure a seamless experience as employees move across offices within a global company. Oversee all aspects of global mobility including domestic and international relocations, partner with outside counsel to prepare visa and green card applications and ensure ongoing maintenance of lawful immigration status and employment authorization for existing employees and new hires. Ensure paperwork is processed on a timely basis, in a professional manner and at a minimized cost to the organization. Ensure the company’s compliance with various HR-related legislation impacting benefits, immigration & relocation.

**Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Serve as primary contact subject matter expert on all aspects of global immigration (e.g., visas, work permit and permanent resident processes) and advise key stakeholders on best practices

+ Serve as the liaison between immigration counsel and internal colleagues to drive all immigration needs

+ Develop, implement, and maintain practices, policies and procedures that best suits our current immigration needs

+ Review and analyze new local, state and federal legislation, understand the impact to the organization and provide recommended policies and procedures to ensure the company is compliant prior to the effective date. Communicate policy to HRIS and Payroll for programming. Prepare employee and HR Team Site communications. Audit systems to ensure accuracy.

+ Responsible for ensuring HR operations process flows are updated and accurate for SOX reviews and other audits.

+ Participate in SOX quarterly reviews and audits as needed

+ Responsible for I-9 oversight; conducting regular audits to ensure compliance, provide guidance to those completing the forms and ensure timely recertifications

+ Provide support in other areas of Human Resources benefits and compliance as required

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

+ Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as an HR Professional in a fast paced, growing company is preferred

+ Strong problem-solving skills with ability to apply resolutions

+ Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

+ Flexible to a wide variety of demands and strong organizational skills

+ Ability to manage vendor relationships

+ Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service and follow-up required

+ Individual contributor who takes initiative and has a proven ability to make sound decisions and prioritize competing responsibilities

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)

+ Working knowledge of Visio and Oracle preferred

+ Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
