Fantastic hybrid Controller opportunity in Hood River area! Looking for a sharp Controller for a small but complex and interesting company. This role reports to the CFO and has room for growth.

Duties include:

Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, cash management, general ledger accounting, and payroll.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions and reporting by maintaining a strong control environment within the erp accounting system.

Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

Lead the preparation and revision of budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances, along with regular financial analysis and reporting.

Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring comprehensive, timely, and accurate financial statements.

Manage job costing and budgeting processes, ensuring they are accurate and reflective of the company’s financial status and goal.

Coordinate the external review process, working closely with external reviewers to ensure compliance.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting, maintaining effective internal controls.

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.

Salary: $120k to $140k; MVD insurance; 401(k) with match; PTO
