**Description**
This position markets Atlantic Union Banks Dealer Finance program to current and prospective qualified auto and recreational vehicle dealers. They will call on current dealers to solidify current relationships and sell Atlantic Unions indirect program to qualified prospects. This teammate will coach other Dealer Finance Relationship Managers with questions or issues regarding their assigned dealers. This teammate will assist Dealer Finance Underwriters in making credit decisions on credit applications during peak volume periods. They will ensure the quality of current dealers inventory and their dealerships appearance stays within expectations. A willingness to work from an offsite location for accessibility to assigned territory may be necessary.
**Position Accountabilities**
* Calls on dealers in person and by phone to solicit indirect loans
* Ensures active dealers are visited periodically to solidify relationships
* Seeks qualified dealers for Atlantic Union Banks indirect program in defined trade area
* Works with dealers to keep all paperwork current and accurate to maintain their status
* Works within set marketing budget to market indirect program to dealers
* Has in-depth knowledge on all Atlantic Unions indirect programs
* Acts as mediator on any issues with dealers to seek satisfactory solutions
* Performs sight evaluations on existing dealers while making monthly visits
* Coaches other Dealer Finance Relationship Managers with any issues that arise among their assigned dealers
* Analyzes and makes credit decisions on indirect credit applications during peak volume periods
* Works with dealers to secure liens on existing collateral
**Organizational Relationship**
This person reports to the Dealer Finance Manager
**Position Qualifications**
Education & Experience:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
* Three years or more of indirect lending experience
Knowledge & Skills:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
* Able to handle multiple tasks with attention to details
* Must be flexible and able to adapt in a changing environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience in interpreting and analyzing Equifax credit reports
* High degree of professionalism
* Self-motivated with the ability to perform with limited supervision
* Knowledge of Federal lending regulations, Fair Lending regulations and E.C.O.A.
