Anywhere Our growing food processing client in Bellingham, WA is looking for a hybrid Director of Finance. This person will wear many hats and oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company’s financial operations and procedures.
Essential duties:
Manage company cash flow
Serve as the company’s financial controller, ensuring preparation of GAAP financial statements
Develop & share timely and accurate analysis, reports, forecasting & statements of financial data with key stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis – or as needed
Implement & change management revolving around accounting policies & procedures as needed, with a focus on internal controls
Lead annual audits & tax filings
Develop & maintain relationships with banking partners & accounting firms
Lead & mentor accounting team, building on day-to-day activities
Oversee budgeting, forecasting & financial planning processes – support financial modeling & planning
Evaluate, implement & optimize financial systems & technologies
Evaluates & implements inventory & cost accounting methods
Support & lead loan administration, tracking & reporting during remaining construction phase
Track & forecast debt repayments, ensuring availability of working capital & payment timing
Manage organizations compliance with local and federal tax requirements
Salary $130k to $150k
