Founded in 2015, Howden Capital Markets & Advisory (“HCMA”) is one of the premier insurance-focused investment banking groups in the industry. Our team covers a broad range of insurance carrier and insurance services companies and offers expertise in M&A, capital raising, general strategic advice and Insurance-Linked Securities.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible to provide administrative support for our team members. The role will include, but not limited to:

  • Compiling and submitting expense reports for HCMA team members
  • Heavy calendar management primarily for client meeting scheduling
  • Ordering meals for client related meetings
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for multiple team members – domestic and international
  • Ground transportation arrangements
  • Air travel – domestic and international
  • Multi-destination travel
  • Assist with offsite and onsite meetings and other special events that may include logistic organization, catering needs, and material preparation
  • General administrative tasks including, filing, scanning, printing, and mailing documents
  • Coordinating with other HCMA Admin Assistants on various projects or tasks

Requirements:

Candidates must be professional, polite, and attentive. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Administrative Assistants must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. Prior experience at investment banking is preferred. The best candidates will also possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2 – 5 years of experience of in administrative support role
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
  • Punctual, prompt and timely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

The compensation range for this role is $60,000- $80,000.
