Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to oversee our month-end accounting close process, ensure accurate revenue recognition across ParentSquare and subsidiaries, and drive improvements in financial reporting and internal controls. Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, this role will be pivotal in maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP standards and supporting external audits.
This role will include:
Manage the month-end accounting close process, including posting journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and oversee revenue reconciliation for ParentSquare and subsidiaries, adhering to company policies and revenue recognition standards
Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
Collaborate with functional leaders across the organization to support the accounting close process and perform OPEX trend analysis
Lead initiatives for system and process improvements to streamline the close timeline and enhance accuracy of accounting records
Assist in technical accounting research activities, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards and policies
Plan and coordinate organizational activities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve strategic goals and objectives
Our Ideal Candidate will have: CPA certification required
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 experience
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with cross-functional groups
Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) companies and proficiency with NetSuite strongly preferred

The salary range for this role will be $110,000 to $ 165,000, DOE.
