About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel with a focus on ESG Compliance. The successful candidate will be the in-house legal expert responsible for advancing the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance readiness. This pivotal role involves providing legal advice and counseling on ESG compliance and disclosure, collaborating with internal stakeholders globally, and ensuring the company meets current and future ESG-related regulatory requirements. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also oversee the localization of corporate-level ESG plans, monitor legal developments in ESG laws, and work with various teams to draft necessary disclosures.

Applicants must have at least eight years of experience in legal compliance, a strong understanding of ESG laws at the state, federal, and international levels, and experience with voluntary reporting frameworks such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, and CDP. The role requires a candidate with a responsive, service-oriented attitude, the ability to work under pressure, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be expected to identify and mitigate risks related to ESG laws, remain current on ESG legal developments, and ensure effective communication and documentation throughout the organization. Qualified candidates should be licensed to practice law in the U.S. and have a proven track record of building collaborative relationships with senior management and functional leads.
