Peckham, Inc. – Senior Finance and Budgeting Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Finance and Budgeting Manager will be a key contributor to Peckham’s business lines, providing critical support in pricing, financial analysis, budgeting, and operations. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting financial data related to call center operations, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial operations and their implications. This position will serve as a strategic partner in areas such as contract pricing, capacity planning, and financial impact assessments. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging financial modeling and data-informed decision-making, this role will play a vital part in advancing Peckham’s mission to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Conduct thorough analyses of financial data related to call center operations, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Oversee and manage the processing of inbound and outbound financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and conduct in-depth analyses to provide actionable insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor the fiscal impact and engagement of partners, vendors and other service operations.
- Advocate for the financial implications of strategic decisions, ensuring that all operational planning and budgeting processes align with the financial goals and sustainability.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for assessing financial stewardship and efficiency and develop reporting mechanisms to track, measure and report these metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights on call center processes, performance trends, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Utilize statistical techniques and predictive modeling to identify patterns and trends that impact financial and operational outcomes.
- Support and collaborate with operational leadership to evaluate the financial impact of call center workflows, systems, and technologies to recommend improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for proposed initiatives, outlining potential benefits, risks, and resource requirements.
- Collect and analyze data and present findings to make recommendations to senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor the implementation of recommended solutions and assess their impact on financial performance and operational efficiency
- Serve as the subject matter expert on operations budgeting and financial planning, providing expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams and senior leadership to inform on financial implications of decisions, influence strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in call center management and business analytics.
- Partner with workforce management to conduct workforce management planning activities and staff forecasting.
- Promote Peckham’s vision, value, culture, and commitment of excellent customer service to all team members, staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analytics, planning, budgeting, or similar role.
- Proven experience in managing operations budgeting in a complex environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with call center technologies and systems (e.g., CRM software, IVR systems) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets. g., MBA).
- Advanced degree (MBA, etc.)
- Call center or customer service environment experience.
