Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist

Essential Duties:

• Create Positive Pay files from payroll and operating software and upload to the bank.
• Download bank statements and save to folders daily.
• Review bank accounts daily for Returns, Exceptions and Notices of Changes and communicate through email these bank issues.
• Update Cash sheet to maintain daily balances.
• Update Transmission log with the invoice and direct deposit files submitted to the bank from the previous day.
• Create wires and ACH transactions as needed.
• Approve ACH files uploaded to the bank.
• Log voided checks on spreadsheet.
• Review payroll status for the next day and communicate with payroll technicians when they will be completed.
• Maintain log of insurance commissions received daily and reconcile monthly.
• Take on and learn payroll tax accounting duties.
• Other assigned duties. 

Education & Experience:

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Minimum of 2+ years accounts receivable experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Associates degree, Job-Related Studies, or equivalent experience.
