Our Supervisor of Accounts Receivable plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include supervising the accounts receivable staff who focus on collections and cash application, resolving late or skipped payments, updating financial records, and collecting the revenue generated by processing all invoices. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the accounts receivable cycle through management, maintenance, implementation, and design of all accounts receivable business procedures and functions for the entire accounts receivable collection process.

What The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Does Each Day:

* Ensures timely preparation and distribution of customer invoices

* Researches and resolves errors related to cash posting

* Performs cash application corrections and write-offs

* Teaches and mentors AR staff on best practices for collections and cash posting including directing and leading the work of the staff in the department

* Accomplishes accounts receivable human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures

* Maintains accurate records and control reports

* Manages collection activities on past-due accounts including escalations from the sales team and customer service

* Prepares of weekly and monthly aging and KPI reporting

* Ensures prompt and accurate application of cash receipts

* Reconciles accounts receivable sub-ledger to general ledger

* Assists with cash collections forecasting

* Participates in the strategic goals of the company including automation efforts

* Organizes monthly meetings to communicate information and guidance from company leadership and to review policies, procedures, and best practices

* Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential

* Maintains financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls

Our Most Successful Supervisor, Accounts Receivable:

* Is a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities

* An expert with various types of accounting software platforms

* Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Is highly skilled and proficient at verifying financial or transactional data

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

* 4 or more years of experience in collections and credit

* 1 or more years of experience in a leadership role

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Able to successfully complete a drug and background check

* Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
