Anywhere Our client, a growing public accounting firm, is seeking an Enrolled Agent (EA) to join their team in a predominantly remote capacity. This role is ideal for a tax professional passionate about tax preparation and advisory services for individuals and small businesses. With 95% of the work performed remotely, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a work-from-home environment, with only 1-2 required visits annually to their Grand Rapids, MI office. You must reside in Michigan to be considered for this role. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while providing high-quality tax planning services. Work closely with senior tax professionals to support more complex tax filings and resolve tax issues. Manage start-to-finish tax preparation processes for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Qualifications: Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation (required). 2 years of experience in tax preparation with a focus on individual and small business returns. Familiarity with UltraTax CS or similar tax preparation software. Strong knowledge of Michigan tax regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferences: Previous experience in a public accounting firm Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet client deadlines. Detail-oriented with a passion for providing high-quality client service. Desire to grow and develop in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
