About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Financial Operations to lead and drive efficiencies across its financial operations, with a focus on customer invoicing, collections, cash applications, and billing functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning and driving all aspects of the company’s shared financial services functions, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders, and collaborating on the internal audit strategy. This leadership role also involves leading process improvements, as well as the coaching, training, and development of a large team. The VP will work closely with department leadership, and be involved in interviewing, hiring, and training employees, as well as managing performance and addressing any issues that arise.
Applicants for the VP of Financial Operations role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, be Lean Six Sigma Certified, and have a minimum of 15 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in finance leadership roles. The role requires experience in a large and complex organization, particularly across multiple jurisdictions, and M&A experience, including post-close integration. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication, organization, and presentation skills, and be adept at driving performance and managing a large team. The position is pivotal in ensuring the company’s financial operations are efficient, effective, and in line with the overall business strategy.
